The hours authorized for the use and enjoyment of the pool will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.; under no circumstances will its use be authorized outside of the established hours.

Entry to the pool is only through the area delimited by the hotel or its access gate; entry through other unauthorized accesses is not permitted.

To access the pool, it is mandatory to bring a towel with you, but towels from the rooms cannot be used in the pool; if you do not have one, you must request one at the reception. Loss or damage to the towel may result in an additional charge of $200,000 COP.

The lifeguard is in charge of the main area and the swimming equipment in the pool. He may prohibit the use of elements within the pool that he considers harmful, noxious or dangerous.

Entry into the pool area in casual clothing or street shoes is not permitted.

The use of a swimsuit or bathing suit made of appropriate material is mandatory. Nudity is not permitted. In some cases, the use of a bathing cap may be required.

Food is not permitted upon entering the pool. Consumption must be done in the assigned and/or appropriate area.

This will be a smoke-free space.

It is not permitted to use the common areas of the hotel in a swimsuit or bath towel. It is essential to wear a shirt and/or bathing suit.

People who are intoxicated or under the influence of psychoactive substances are not permitted.

You must take a shower and use the footbath before entering the pool.

Pets are not permitted in the pool.

Firearms or sharp objects are not permitted in the pool areas.

It is prohibited to bring hotel furniture into the pool and/or move it outside the pool area. This will result in a fine.

No user with any type of wound or skin condition will be permitted to swim.

Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times; babies may not enter the pool.

The hotel will not be held responsible when, due to non-compliance with any of these policies, situations occur that may affect the health of people. In such event, the person who fails to comply with these obligations will be responsible and for this purpose the hotel may impose fines from (2) CURRENT LEGAL MONTHLY MINIMUM SALARIES (or its equivalent in US dollars) and up to the time it deems necessary to compensate for damages and losses arising from this behavior.
The client will be responsible for the use of the hotel pool, especially in relation to minors. The client will use the pool at his own will and risk as well as assume the risk of minors who are in his custody and who use the pool, therefore the client excludes the hotel and its staff from all types of responsibility for damages or losses arising from the use of the pool by the client or minors under his care.

In the event of damage to the pool, facilities, equipment, furniture and any other item, the cost of the necessary repairs and restorations will be borne by the client, who will be personally responsible to the hotel for his own actions and those of his family without the possibility of exemption.
The hotel reserves the right to establish additional regulations regarding the use of the pool, which will be posted in the respective facilities.

Hotel guests have access to the swimming pool included in their accommodation rate at no additional cost.

Day Pass

Our KATAI pool is one of the 3 VIP areas in the hotel.

Clients who visit us with a day pass reservation can secure their place in the pool by paying 100,000 COP per person at the hotel reception upon arrival, provided that we have available spaces.

These 100,000 COP can be fully consumed in food and/or drinks.

Pool space reservations are subject to availability at the time and we have limited spaces.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. Know how to swim. If you do not know how to swim, you must inform the hotel in order to avoid any inconvenience and/or adopt the recommendations made to you, such as the use of floats at all times.
  2. Avoid applying sunscreen, creams and cosmetics, remove them from your body before entering the pool.
  3. It is recommended not to enter the pool with chains, earrings, necklaces, piercings, t-shirts, or similar items.
  4. Change in the locker room only.
  5. Act and adopt a behavior of respect, discretion and caution, in order not to bother others.
  6. When dressing or undressing, you must keep a towel covering your genitals.
  7. Avoid rough games. DO NOT RUN or play games that endanger your physical integrity.
  8. Do not walk barefoot, especially if you or the floor is wet.
  9. During THUNDERSTORMS, the pool must be evacuated for your safety.
  10. For safety, see the location of the lifeguards, they must be used in case of emergencies. Any heart condition or any other condition must be reported to the lifeguard.
  11. Avoid entering the pool with open wounds, lacerations or skin infections.It is mandatory to report any RISK SITUATION in the pool Decree 2171 art. 14 literal 3. Read the policies for the use of the pool published on the WEB page and on the notice board located in the pool lobby.
